As the second day of this heat wave struck the area, NLDC for Boys sought to have some fun in the sun, rather than hide from it.
After a jam-packed morning, the campers took in lunch and then got their swim suits (or kept their shorts) on, in preparation of the slip n’ slide.
Campers went down the slide in various forms: individually, racing against a friend, and attempting to be the most stylish.
When it was over, the boys dried off and returned to activities to close out the day.
